Hi, I’m Misha. I’m a certified mindfulness coach, author, and retreat guide based in Tokyo. For the last five years I’ve been supporting people in Japan who are navigating burnout, heartbreak, anxiety, overwhelm, career changes and big life transitions. My approach blends mindfulness-based stress reduction, Internal Family Systems (IFS), somatic tools, and psychosomatic coaching to help people uncover roadblocks, reconnect with themselves, and find a greater sense of ease.
I’ve been through burnout myself and I know what it feels like to be stuck. Living in Japan for over a decade, I’ve also faced the ups and downs of building a life here—cultural adjustment, career changes, and the day-to-day stress of a fast-paced city. These experiences allow me to meet you with not only tools and training, but also genuine empathy and understanding.
Alongside individual coaching, I’ve been guiding and organizing mindfulness workshops and retreats across Tokyo and Japan. In groups and one-on-one, I’ve worked with people on topics like managing the inner critic, finding peace in the big city, forgiveness, grief, and navigating the spiritual journey. While I’m not a therapist, I hold a two-year mindfulness certification and a year-long coaching training, so I work from many of the same foundations while bringing in my own unique perspective.
In our calls, I’ll create a safe and supportive space where you can share whatever feels important. You decide what you want to bring into the conversation, and there is no pressure to have it all figured out beforehand. If you’re not sure where to start, we can begin right there. Together we’ll explore what’s present for you, at a pace that feels grounded and manageable.
This isn’t about rigid productivity or “self improvement,” but about finding alignment and moving through life with more clarity, compassion, and flow.
